Welcome!

Welcome to the course blog for PSY 110 General Psychology taught by Dr. Kate Wolfe at Seattle Central Community College. This course serves as the introduction to the science of psychology. Many people find this to be a challenging course. As a survey course we cover many areas of psychology including a brief history of the field, research methods, biological bases of behavior, learning and memory, human development, personality, psychological disorders and social psychology.

As a freshman level college course, it is expected that all students can read and write English at the college level. If you have already completed English 101 or 102 that is great!

You may find this useful, it is like having a free study guide to help you prepare for exams and quizzes. Feel free to visit the site and use it regularly.

Please contact Dr. Wolfe if you have any questions or problems during the quarter. Do not wait until the end of the quarter if you are having difficulty with the course.
